Digital Physiognomy is an entertaining psychological profiling software application that applies face analysis to estimate human characteristics and to identify personality type. The tool works like a police sketch, so user has to select different parts of the person's face. Among the characteristics it evaluates are intellect, optimism - pessimism, conformism - adventurism, egoism - altruism, laziness, honesty, even luck. The application comes with a set of more than 1000 samples of human face reading.

Add a disclaimer that the results are 'for entertainment purposes only'

The marketing materials seem to too strongly imply that one can get an accurate character profile from a single photograph. No where does it suggest one should submit more than one photo of a person for analysis.

Software should include ability to import digital graphics, i.e., JPG, GIF, BMP, etc

Include the ability to import user's own photos, or photos of friends for entertainment.

Have the ability to change any picture type i.e. jpg, bmp, to interact with the software.

I want to change the jpg, bmp, or other picture into the program format and modify the picture. That would be funnier.

point out that Face reading is NOT just entertainment, it is real. I am a prosopagnostic who uses this naturally as a survival coping skill.

See my comment below. It is not junk science to someone with prosopagnosia. Just as the blind have heightened skills other than site, people who are "face-blind" acquire special recognition skills, too...based on PIECES of a face.

It is very funny and entertaining. You have to choose several sets of chins, nose, etc. It is quite limited though, but worth it. The registration was quite easy. I think it is worth it. I love it.

Screeshots are fine, but a tutorial video is a "must" these days.

Import one's OWN photos of others, and even photos of one's own self

It's pretty much a worthless application if the user is only playing with pre-packaged sets of faces - photos and drawings.
